Yes. If your repo is public on GitHub, Lokali is free forever — no card, no trial, no expiry. We believe open source software deserves to be multilingual out of the box. This isn't a loss-leader tier we'll quietly shut down; it's part of how we want the web to work.
Any GitHub repo with visibility set to private. Public repos (open source) are never counted against your quota. Forks of public repos count as public. Internal repos (GitHub Enterprise organization-internal) count as private.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You can cancel anytime — no cancellation fee, no hostile dark patterns.
Yes — pay annually and get 2 months free. Indie is $290/yr (vs $348 monthly). Team is $990/yr (vs $1,188 monthly). Switch the toggle above to see annual pricing. Venture plans are negotiated on contract terms.
All plans include Spanish, French, German, Portuguese (BR + PT), Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Arabic, and Hindi — 10 languages covering the vast majority of global web traffic. Try them in the interactive playground. More languages are coming; Venture customers can request priority additions.
Human translators are great for marketing copy and nuanced brand voice. Lokali is great for UI strings, error messages, and anything that needs to be updated every time you ship. Most teams use both: Lokali handles the high-volume, high-velocity strings automatically; humans review or adjust tone-sensitive copy in the PR.
